75 Hard Results: The Challenge That Finally Changed My Body

Why I Turned to 75 Hard

I’ve tried it all—endless cardio, at-home ab workouts, random diets… and yet my stomach never seemed to change. I was consistent in the wrong ways, putting in effort but seeing almost no results. That’s when I decided to commit to 75 Hard, and honestly, it completely shifted the way I approach fitness, discipline, and consistency.

For me, it wasn’t about following the latest fitness trend just because it was all over TikTok or doing it because it’s popular. I needed structure and a method that would actually work. Running in place, trying everything and never seeing progress was very tiring. I wanted a system that forced consistency, challenged me mentally, and gave me real results that created a new lifestyle, not just temporary motivation.

What 75 Hard Actually Includes

If you haven’t heard of it, here’s what 75 Hard actually involves. You commit to two workouts a day, and one of them has to be outdoors. You follow a strict diet with no cheat meals, drink a gallon of water daily, read ten pages of a personal development book, and completely avoid alcohol for 75 days. I even sprinkled in no sugar as well. It’s intense, but because of its intensity it creates real results.

The Hardest Parts No One Talks About

I won’t sugarcoat it. 75 Hard is hard. Some of the toughest parts for me were waking up to go on walks to get my 10,000 steps in (this is what I did as one of the 2 workouts) when I just wanted to sleep, fighting the mental urge to skip a workout or not having my favorite sugary snacks, feeling frustrated when I didn’t see immediate changes in my stomach, and keeping my energy up while sticking to a strict diet. But honestly, the challenge is what makes the results so real.

The Results I Saw—Beyond Just My Stomach

By the end of the challenge, I noticed changes that went beyond just a flat belly. My face slimmed down, my lower body looked amazing, I had more energy to do chores, and most importantly, my six-pack revealed itself again. Not only that, but my confidence was through the roof. This was my favorite result because, coming from a very low place with postpartum depression, my confidence was very low, so I was proud that I could finally look in the mirror and see myself again. I go into a little deeper on this post: (My Postpartum Fitness Journey: How I Rebuilt My Body After Baby). I learned that consistency and discipline, while focused on a fixed target devours random bursts of motivation that only last about a week, every single time. Even though my stomach took a little longer to change, the rest of my body and mindset were transformed, and that was huge for me.

The Biggest Lessons 75 Hard Taught Me

Here’s what 75 Hard really taught me. Doing “something” consistently isn’t enough if it’s not the right thing, especially when it comes to belly fat. Discipline is mostly mental; the hardest part isn’t the workouts, it’s showing up when you don’t feel like it. Consistency compounds; small wins every day lead to big results over time. And most importantly, your mindset matters more than your routine. I realized I could actually be consistent if I had a clear, disciplined plan and if I showed up and gave my best everyday, I could do anything. When you’re blindly following random motivation to do something without a solid plan, it makes discipline very challenging and eventually leads to quitting.

My Advice If You Want to Try a Challenge

If you’re thinking about trying a structured program or challenge, here’s my advice. Start with one habit at a time if you’re new to discipline and compound it over time. Track your progress instead of just hoping for change. Plan your workouts and meals ahead of time. And celebrate small wins—they keep you motivated and make the process doable.

If you’ve struggled with consistency like I did, trust me—you can get results. Start small, commit to your structured plan, and don’t give up when it’s tough. Have you tried 75 Hard or another challenge? Drop your experience in the comments—I’d love to hear your story.
